Whitewater Rafting in the Columbia Gorge

$100.00

September 20th-22nd, 2024
Explore the Columbia Gorge and raft the White Salmon River!

Well this trip might just be our favorite. Join us in Trout Lake, WA, just north of White Salmon, WA for a weekend of white water rafting, cheese and wine tasting, late summer farm dinners, cave spelunking and relaxing at the base of Mount Adams. We have rented out a whole farmhouse and it’s four adjacent glamping tents for a comfortable two-night stay. The farm is equiped with a outdoor bath house, a hot tub, fresh produce, an outdoor kitchen, and many places for fun lawn games. We will be located 11 miles from the whitewater rafting put in along the White Salmon River. We’ll enjoy a 4 hour rafting experience.

This White Salmon River rafting trip has attracted whitewater enthusiasts for generations. Perfect for beginners and advanced rafters, the river’s Class III-IV whitewater rapids challenge even our most experienced veteran rafting guests.

A river-wide ledge, Husum Falls has gained a reputation as one of the tallest commercially raftable waterfalls in the country. Depending upon water levels, your White Salmon raft trip will culminate with a heart-pumping vertical plunge. If this sounds like more excitement than you’re interested in, don’t worry, Husum Falls is optional. If you’re more interested in watching the action than being part of it, you are always welcome to walk around Husum Falls and watch from the river banks.

Funny enough, rafting isn’t the only exciting thing to experience on our trip. We’ll explore the infamous cheese cave, a natural lava tube cave where cheese was stored in the late 19th century. We’ll also visit an actual cheese cave at Cascadia Creamery as well as a few of Washington’s best wineries.
