This is a classic Windward Adventures dinner. I mean, have you ever had to hike a trail with a 1700 ft gain for your dinner? Well, for the third year, Windward brings you the opportunity!
Poo Poo Point via the Chirico Trail is a steep two-mile hike through a beautiful regenerated forest in the Issaquah Alps. The summit boasts expansive views of Mt. Rainier, western views as far as the Olympic Mountains, and the occasional paraglider jumping off. Your reward after a strenuous hike will be cool water and a one-of-a-kind meal that has never been done before. Dinner on a mountain!
This year we have added a Windward guide to help with the hike. After parking (there is a paid $5 lot across the street from the trailhead), you will meet our trail guide at 3pm. She will make sure the group is ready for the strenuous climb and can help motivate and also regulate the pace at which you climb. We want everyone to feel comfortable and encouraged to reach the top!
This year we have added an option to paraglide off the mountain with Seattle Paragliding after dinner. Please let us know if you are interested in this opportunity and we can coordinate this for you.
