July 30th - Dinner atop Poo Poo Point

Have you ever had to hike a trail with a 1700 ft gain for your dinner? Well, Windward brings you the opportunity!
Poo Poo Point via the Chirico Trail is a steep two-mile hike through a beautiful regenerated forest in the Issaquah Alps. The summit boasts expansive views of Mt. Rainier, western views as far as the Olympic Mountains, and the occasional paraglider jumping off.
Your reward after a strenuous hike will be cool water and a one-of-a-kind meal that has never been done before. Dinner on a mountain!
MENU:
Sourdough bread with smoked eggplant, cherry tomatoes, curry leaf oil, and pinenuts

Slaw of celery, green peppers, radishes, and cabbage with feta, olives, lemon and za’atar
—
Smashed potatoes with roasted peppers, smoked butter, marjoram and chives
—
Salmon with grilled artichokes and cucumber tzatziki
—
Berry galette with chilled lemongrass crème anglaise
Several n/a beverage options will be available for this event.
We encourage our guests to start the trail at 4:30p as it takes over an hour to get up top.
Sunset is at 8:30pm, so we ask that all guests start their descent at 7:30pm to get down safely. If guests choose to stay longer than 7:30pm, they will assume all responsibility for their personal safety.
As always, our tickets are non-refundable but transferable!
